About me

I am a music journalist and communications expert, specialising in cyber security, crisis communications, change communications and engagement and outreach.

I have over 10 years experience in writing communications content for the higher education, cyber security and charity sectors. I also have experience in engagement and outreach within these sectors, in addition to co-ordinating events, consultancy and advisory roles in website design and migration for organisations, and working with high-profile stakeholders including the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) and the University of Oxford.

I also have experience in A&R when I worked on the Grammy Nominated Album (Best Folk Album) Front Porch by artist Joy Williams.

I have been published in a number of print and digital publications including Atwood Magazine, Holler.Country and American Songwriter.

I write both long and short form features as well as interviews, profiles and reviews. I am also a published poet.

My work has been quoted in a number of high-profile press releases.

I have a Masters in International Security from Oxford Brookes University. My thesis looked at the extent to which the media shaped public opinion during the Vietnam and Iraq (2003) wars.
